Find a platform that fits what your visitors need to do

Choosing a website builder starts with the job your page needs to do. You might need to explain your services and collect enquiries. Or visitors might need to answer questions, get a recommendation, calculate a price, or configure an offer before they get in touch.

This website builder quiz helps you compare those needs alongside how you want to design and maintain the experience. Use your shortlist to decide which platforms to explore and test.

What the quiz shows

  • Three platforms to explore based on your answers
  • A match percentage for each recommendation
  • Reasons connected to your project and selected priorities
  • Trade-offs and plan details to check before choosing
  • The other platforms in the comparison, so you can explore beyond the shortlist

You can see your results without entering an email address.

How to use it

  1. Choose what you want to build: a business website, a page for an offer or campaign, or a quiz, calculator, or step-by-step guide.
  2. Select what you want visitors to do: learn about your business and get in touch, find the right service, or get a calculated price.
  3. Choose how you want to edit your page: without code, with AI or a developer, or no preference.
  4. Choose how to start the design and which extra feature matters most. Website priorities include content publishing or letting customers book or pay online.
  5. For recommendations or pricing, choose whether you want one platform, separate tools, or have no preference.
  6. Choose whether unlimited visits and submitted answers or unlimited editors matter more, or select no preference.

The quiz asks six questions for a basic enquiry journey and seven for recommendations or pricing. Every question has three answers. Use “Review my answers” to change your choices and see how the shortlist changes.

Website, landing page, or interactive experience?

A business website gives visitors a place to understand your services and find relevant information. Campaign landing pages focus on a particular offer and the next action you want visitors to take.

An interactive experience responds to the visitor. A quiz can recommend a service, a calculator can estimate a price, and a configurator can help someone choose the options that fit their needs.

These experiences can be part of a complete website, a campaign page, or a tool embedded in an existing site. The quiz considers both the page you need and the outcome you want visitors to reach.

Which platforms are included?

The comparison includes 14 platforms: ConvertSite, Framer, Heyflow, Instapage, involve.me, Landingi, Leadpages, Lovable, Outgrow, Perspective, Squarespace, Unbounce, Webflow, and Wix.

It covers website builders, landing page builders, and tools for interactive experiences. It is intended for business websites, campaign pages, quizzes, calculators, and guided funnels. It does not assess specialist ecommerce requirements or apps with user accounts. Lovable is assessed for landing pages, websites and on-page interactions, including how AI-generated functionality is maintained.

How the recommendations work

Your project, visitor outcome, and additional priority carry the most weight. Design, page editing, and limits preferences refine the order. For interactive projects, the quiz also considers whether you want the page and interaction in one builder or are comfortable connecting specialist tools.

The match percentage shows how many of the available weighted points a platform receives for your selected answers. Questions that do not apply, “No extra feature needed,” and “I don’t have a preference” add no points and are excluded from the maximum. For interactive projects, choosing editing without code and one platform restricts the shortlist to suitable built-in interaction features. Equal scores are ordered alphabetically.

ConvertSite created this comparison and is one of the platforms included. Scores are editorial fit judgments based on the comparison's rules, rather than independent performance ratings. ConvertSite is not always in the shortlist.

Before choosing a platform

Try one real example of your project in the platforms you are considering. Check how you would update the content, change a question, adjust a pricing rule, or revise a recommendation after launch.

Confirm the current plan includes the features and integrations you need. Check visitor allowances, response or lead limits, and editor seats separately. Unlimited visits do not necessarily mean unlimited responses, and a connected tool can have its own limits.

Frequently asked questions

Is this quiz free, and do I need to sign up?

The quiz is free to use. You can view your shortlist without signing up or sharing your email address.

What does a 100% match mean?

It means the platform receives the maximum score under this comparison's rules for your selected answers. It does not guarantee that it meets every detail of your project or that a particular plan includes everything you need.

Can I use the quiz if I already have a website?

Yes. Choose “A quiz, calculator, or step-by-step guide” if you want an experience you can use on its own or add to your existing site. Your result will also reflect whether you prefer one builder or connected tools.

Does the quiz compare exact prices or traffic volumes?

No. It asks what you would like to be unlimited, but it does not calculate a subscription price or ask for your expected visits, responses, or team size. Check those numbers against the provider's current plans.

Can I build a recommendation quiz like this with ConvertSite?

Yes. ConvertSite supports interactive landing pages and sites with questions, rules, and tailored results. You can use a matching experience to help visitors choose a service or next step before they enquire.
